Gregory (Greg) Don Moore was born July 10, 1983 to Terry Moore and Janice Hagelgantz. He passed away on May 4, 2012. He is survived by his son Jason Gregory Moore, daughter Mikayla Mia Moore, parents Janice and Clyde Davis, Terry and Kym Moore. His sister Amanda Moore, stepbrother Tate Eppler (all of Clovis), step grandparent’s Carol Hagelgantz (Clovis), Bus and Arlene Davis (Pittsburgh, PA), ex-wife and best friend Kristin Moore, her children Joseph Ricks, Alexis Ricks and Nadia Garcia. Godfather David Ulibarri, numerous aunts, uncles and extended family (both biological and of choice).
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Thelda (Moore) Poor, Gail Moore, Donnie Poor, Dora Ortiz-Hagelgantz, Everett Hagelgantz and Godmother Eileen Lopez.
Greg is of the Christian faith and attended Faith Christian Family Church where he also worked doing building maintenance and grounds keeping. He loved the work he did at the church and was especially fond of the staffing and devotion on Tuesday mornings. Greg had obtained his CNA certification and worked at Laurel Ridge in Clovis. He also did detail work and grounds keeping for Richard Barton Pontiac. He lived in Alamogordo for about 1 year and worked as a mechanic for Pro Lube but always loved living in Clovis and wanted to return to his home.
As a child Greg had been very active at Sacred Heart Community Church where he was an altar server and a child liturgist for Easter Vigil Mass and the Passover Seder Meal. Greg along with his mother and sister loved delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly on a monthly basis.
Greg had a great sense of humor and is remembered for his ability to remember lines from the movies he loved. He enjoyed playing Guitar Hero with his two children and loved to watch them dance and sing.
A Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart on Wednesday May 9th at 6 P.M. There will be a celebration of his life at Faith Christian Family Church on May 10th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Raney officiating the church service. The Rev. Clyde Davis (his stepfather) will officiate at a graveside service. Pallbearers include Bryan Garcia, Angel Roldan, Aron Garcia, Jason Kos, Aaron Phillips (cousin), Howard Phillips (Uncle) and Tate Eppler. Honorary Pallbearers are, Daniel Freeman, Richard Gomez, Styler Harris, Suni Skywater, Anthony Salguero III, and Austin Roland (cousin). In Lieu of flowers a scholarship trust fund has been set up at High Plains Federal Credit Union for Jason and Mikayla Moore or contributions can be made to the Lighthouse Mission.
