Wydett "Bud" Fourmentin age 90, of Clovis, NM died Sunday April 8, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Mission Gardens of Memories with Pastor Darwin Speicher officiating.
Bud was born December 5, 1921 in Wellington, Texas to Charles H. and Rosa Pearl Bowen Fourmentin. Wydett married Anna Bell Cranfill August 8, 1941 in Portales and after her death he married Shirley Sutton Porter, September 17, 1997 in Clovis, NM. He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Navy as a motor machinist mate 2nd class. He owned and operated Bud's Plumbing in Clovis and was a member of Livingstones Community Church of the Nazarene. Bud enjoyed hunting, horseback riding and dancing.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, 3 Children: Gregory (AnnaLee) Fourmentin, Marlow, OK., Debbie (Leland) Tillman, San Jon, NM, and Cindy Ford of Clovis, NM, Six grandchildren; Camille (Alan) Vaughan, Keller, TX, Chandra (David) Orange, Brownwood, TX, Alan (Leigh) Fourmentin, Cleburne, TX, Jayme Maddox, Ft. Worth, TX, Jason Tillman, Amarillo. TX and Raina Hornaday of Austin, TX, nine great-grandchildren; Cale Vaughan, Jake Vaughan, Brody Fourmentin, Annabelle Orange, Brendan Pursley, Nathan Hornaday, Hannah Hornaday, Jack Hornaday and Holly Hornaday, a niece Leslie Jane Teel and a nephew Alvin Lynn "Duke" Barham.
He was preceded by his parents, Charles and Pearl, first wife, Anna Bell and a son Michael.
