Frank Charles Simmonds, 92, of Clovis, NM died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 11,2012 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Darwin Speicher officiating.
Frank was born October 7, 1919 to Francis and Katherine (Short) Simmonds in Kansas City, MO. He married Glendell Trout February 7, 1941 in Mountainair, NM and they came to Clovis in 1943. He owned and operated Sutton's Bakery and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mountainair, NM.
Survivors include his son, Loren (Sharon) Simmonds of Lynnwood, WA; two grandchildren, Wendy (Lanny) Hough of Lynnwood, WA, and Tyler (Vannice) Simmonds of Bothell, WA; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
