Louis Martinez 76, of Tucumcari, NM. Louis died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home. Memroial services were held at Immanuel Baptist Church, Tucumcari, NM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 3pm with Pastor Gordon Runyan officiating. Burial followed at Tucumcari Memorial Park in Tucumcari, NM.
Louis was born March 31, 1935 to Rank Duran and Eugenia (Zamora) Martinez in Santa Rosa, NM. He married Ruth Campos October 4, 1958 in Santa Rosa, NM. He worked as a Supervisor for NM Highway Department.
Survivors include his wife Ruth of the home; two sons, Frank Tollett and Louis Martinez Jr. both of Tucumcari, NM; two daughters, Arthur Martinez and Joyce Runyan both of Tucumcari, NM; two brothers, David Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, and Bonny Martinez of California; two sisters, Pat Mowad and Thomasa Winsor both of El Paso, TX; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eugenia; a son, Jim Jerome Martinez; and a sister, Rita Damel.
